How to install GenEx on Vista

Postby MultiDAdmin » Mon Dec 15, 2008 12:47 pm

- Stop Genex if it is running.
- Save the license file in your Genex directory (default path is
c:\Program files\multid\genex). Delete the current trial license first. Also
make sure that the license filename "genex.vpl" in not changed after you
save it.
- In your Genex directory right click on genex.exe and select "Run As
Administrator"
- Your Genex is Licensed
- If you are connected to internet, when Genex is up select
"Help/Update Genex". You should get the message that you have the latest
version of Genex or Genex will upgrade to the latest release. If you did not
receive any messages it means that WebUpdate is not working (Genex itself
works fine), please contact me then and I will help you to resolve the
problem.

Best wishes,
GenEx team
